Anja from Kweens has done it again - not only has she provided subtitles for Episode 2 of Seeking Simone in German, but she also translated our interview with Cherry Grrl in German as well!

Episode 3 Update: I think it's safe to say it's coming sooner than the last time we said it was "coming soon". Wouldn't it be funny if there were only two episodes of this thing? After all this fun and excitement? Hahahahaa! Yeah, not really. If it's not ready by this time next week, we promise compromising photos of the cast.

Simone Ep 1 - Available in German!

Another week - another language!

The charming and talented Anja from lesbian site Kweens kindly offered to translate Simone into the language of Renée's forefathers - German. As if things weren't sassy and international enough around here!

Anja wurde sehr schnell (I think that means "was very fast" - don't make me look like a Dummkopf, Google Translate) and we just added the new subtitles to our YouTube channel today.

That's right - you can now switch between Spanish and German subtitles on Episode 1 of Seeking Simone.

How? Well, you click on the little triangle at the bottom of the player to turn the captions on. Then you mouse lightly to the left to choose which language you want. It's all very exciting!

So if you speak German - or you're looking to brush up on your German - or if all you remember from high school German is that Die Fledermaus is both a famous opera and a character on The Tick, check out Episode 1 in German on YouTube.

We're so grateful to both Paola and Anja for helping us make Seeking Simone more accessible for lesbians everywhere. Danke schön, ladies!

Paola's work is really expanding our Spanish vocabulary - you won't find "Do friends take out restraining orders on you?" in your Rough Guide to Spain. And you never know when it'll come in handy!

Simone Ep 1 - Now in Spanish!

We felt quite sassy and international after the lovely ladies at EurOut made us Website of the Week this past week! Thanks, EurOut! As a result of their link love, we experienced a delightful jump in our Spanish viewership (How do we know? Stats! They. Are. Magic.)

So when the charming and talented Paola of Spanish blog Lesbicanarias offered to write Spanish subtitles for Seeking Simone, we jumped at the chance to add some international flavour to the show (besides Simone's obsession with the Thai place down the street).

Paola works muy rapido and the first episode is already done! Here are a few screenshots with the subtitles - ¿jealous?:
