GTA dwellers! Tonight on Rogers Cable 10 & 63 will be HOTNESS.

While RogersTV FoQus with Deb Pearce host Deb Pearce is off saving the world, one diaper at a time, our own Renée Olbert is guest-hosting the show tonight! She is so multi-talented.

Another delightful tidbit on the show tonight will be Liz Stembridge (who plays Audrey's wife Andrea) interviewing Sara Gilchrist (who plays Sylvia Grihm and who is also, amazingly, the fabulous editor of our last four episodes! She, too, is extremely multi-talented) about how awesome she is and her role in Seeking Simone.

Tune in tonight at 10:30 p.m. - and if, like me, you're not in the GTA, we'll try and find some way to bring you the interview online. TECHNOLOGY FTW!

 

Behind the Scenes ... and Behind the Music for Ep 2.3!

As you may have noted in Episode 2.3: Heat of Fashion, we had a little something extra during the sexy times scenes...MUSIC. I know...did I just BLOW YOUR MIND??

We were very lucky to have a couple of very talented musician types agree to let us feature their lovely songs in the episode, although whether they knew we be using the songs to underscore girl-on-girl action isn't clear. HA ha!

The first song, the one during Simone and Sylvia's sexy wine-by-the-fireplace time was Stay by Cloverjoy, a great band out of Windsor, ON. Check them out on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/cloverjoy

Kelsey Montanez' Burnouts Lovesong was the musical accompaniment for Simone and Sylvia's tryst in the boudoir. Kelsey is an indie singer-songwriter out of Chicago and you can see and hear more of her awesome work on her MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/kmontanez

Unfortunately for you all, our ace photographer Kristen was not on the scene to capture the same kind of gorgeous behind-the-scenes shots we had for Episode 2.2: Tippi Hedren's Slutty Daughter but we did still manage to capture some magic moments on the set.

OMG! Simone is on TV!

If you're in Toronto, and you're a Rogers cable customer, tune in September 12 at 11 p.m. to see the entire first season of our gay little webseries on your TV...in HD. Did I just blow your mind?

Finally, you can watch Simone's dating meltdowns late at night, on the TV, sitting on the couch with your hand in your pants - THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE WATCHED. Or, you can PVR it and watch it during the day.

In the Dinah Zone - Part II

As you may recall, in Part I of the In the Dinah Zone series, Renée went undercover as a reporter for Queeries Mag to discover what exactly happens at the Dinah Shore weekend. And she found out.

In this new Part II, our intrepid star actually competes in the sexay Battle of the Lesbian Webseries - and hijinks ensue!

I have to say, this video is pretty hilarious - especially around the 3:19 mark. Enjoy the scantily clad ladies and dreams coming true! Kudos to the team at Queeries for putting this report together!!

Episode 2.2 Out Next Week! Plus, Scenes from a Lesbian Web Series Panel.

Helloooo! Oh, we are so excited to tell you that one week from today, our long-awaited Episode 2.2: Tippi Hedren's Slutty Daughter, will finally be released into the wild! Woooo! Tune in on July 19th for some wardrobe malfunctions and horror as Simone ... well, you'll see next week.

In the meantime, the lovely ladies of the Toronto Women's Bookstore have provided a recording of the lesbian webseries panel they hosted back on June 30th, starring the creators of BJ Fletcher, Private Eye and, of course, our own Renée Olbert!

Remember how Renée Olbert went to represent Seeking Simone at the Dinah this year?

Renée Olbert Interview on foQus with Deb Pearce

I know, I know...you're all wondering when Season 2 will kick off! We're busy little Beaverettes, editing the season and making sure that all of your lesbian entertainment needs are met.

In the meantime, we've managed to obtain the "In the Spotlight" interview our own Renée Olbert did with the hilarious Deb Pearce on the new Toronto-based show foQus with Deb Pearce. They talk about the show, why we created it, what's coming up in Season 2 and how (gasp!) we're lesbians!! It's true! Thanks to Deb Pearce and the fine folks at foQus for the great interview! 

A little It Gets Better from Seeking Simone

As we mentioned in our post on Spirit Day, all of us at Seeking Simone have been so saddened by the stories of youth ending their lives due to anti-gay bullying and have been really inspired by the It Gets Better Project's efforts to let queer youth know that they're not alone. 

So we thought we'd take a break from our usual wocka wocka and have a few moments of sincerity with an It Gets Better video by our own Renee Olbert.

A little Gay Games Gutentag from Renée

We were pretty glued to our computers for the duration of the Gay Games, enjoying After Ellen & OML's livestreaming Gay Games coverage (hosted by the lovely Bridget McManus) and we were super jealous of BJ Fletcher P.I.'s producer Rochelle Dancel, who was actually in Cologne for OML's Theatre Nights. 

We hear that Theatre Nights were a big success - thanks so much to all who came out to watch hot girl-on-girl action on the big, big screen!

Since we couldn't be there in person, we decided to send a short intro instead. Featuring Renée. Speaking German. It's like she's a little more like Liz Lemon every single day.
