OML's Battle of the Lesbian Web Series at The Dinah 2010 - We'll Be There!

The hilarious ladies at One More Lesbian are taking their support of lesbian content to the next level, y'all - they're hosting a Battle of the Lesbian Web Series at the Dinah in April and Renée Olbert will be there to represent!

Here's the scoop:

One More Lesbian, silver sponsor of The Dinah 2010, will be hosting the first annual Battle Of The Lesbian Web Series on Saturday April 3rd, 4:30PM – 5:30PM at The Hilton Palm Springs. 

Come cheer for your favorite web series as they face-off in this fierce and hilarious competition!!  Comedienne Suzanne Westenhoefer and Sirius/XM Radio host Doria Biddle will MC.

We love the gals at OML - they were one of the first sites to feature our show and we are always appreciative of their support (and, of course, huge fans of their awesome lesbonic content!). So we're totally thrilled that Simone herself, Renée Olbert, will be at the Dinah, ready to duke it out with some of our partners in lesbian web series crime. Thanks for inviting us to play, OML!!

Naturally, we don't want Renée going into this thing cold, so she's starting a training regimen to prepare for the Dinah Shore experience. For all of March, Renée will be working hard to improve on the following:

• Crisco wrestling
• Building up her immunity to Jello shots
• "That's what she said" jokes
• Undoing bras with her teeth (she medalled in this event in Torino)

Seeking Simone at Toronto Pride - Buttons on Us!

It's Pride in Toronto, kittens! And Seeking Simoners will be out and about, gaying it up with our people!

While we'll definitely be mourning the loss of King of Pop and the Queen of the Most Awesome Hair Ever, we'll be out celebrating life, enjoying his music, flipping our hair Charlie's Angels-style and raising a glass - or a bucket - to their memory.

While we have no set itinerary for Pride, we'll DEFINITELY be anywhere there's a drink to be had - check the beer tents! And we'll also definitely be shakin' some booty at the Cherry Bomb Dyke Day Afternoon Afterparty - wooo!

So if you're out and about in Toronto this weekend, keep an eye out for us ... and our snazzy new buttons! We have one for you! They're pretty cute:

We're at nextMEDIA in Banff!

What happens when you mix the awe-inspiring mountain vistas of Banff, digital media geeks, thin mountain air and copious cocktails? That's right - the nextMEDIA conference!

We thought it would be a terrific idea to come out to the conference as we're getting ready to launch Seeking Simone, so we could learn from the cool kids and tell a few folks about our fledging web series.

Through many miracles of time and space, our team managed to pull together the first couple of episodes just in time! Just in time to discover why Banff is such a great place for artists to avoid distractions - the internet here is slow and fussy, like a glacier who's mad at you for something and you don't know what but if you ask it, it says "if you don't know what you did, I CAN'T HELP YOU." Slow like that. Which makes it very trying to upload videos to places like, say, our website.

The upshot of this is that hey! There's a trailer for our show! It's right here on the site! On your right! Enjoy!
